You also need to know that sometimes when babies cry excessively at uncertain times, there is nothing much that can be done apart from being patient. It may not be the most pleasing experience for parents but let’s just say its part of the whole parenting experience.

It is panicking to see your baby crying. You must know that all babies cry for a maximum of 35 minutes irrespective of any reason. Sometimes they cry because they feel bored. It is their way of communication, you need to understand what they are trying to say.
There are a few possible reasons if you may be still wondering why your baby cries uncontrollably
1. Baby needs food
As soon as we see a baby crying, the first thing that comes to our mind is that the baby is hungry. Hunger is the most common reason why a baby cries. If you look at your baby putting fingers in his/her mouth or if they smack their lips, hunger is the possible reason why your baby is crying excessively. Sometimes babies are hungry only for a particular food item. There are minimal things they can crave for like water, milk or honey, try feeding all and see if it works.
2. Colic
Another reason behind excessive crying among babies is indigestion. Maybe their stomach hurts, or they might have developed gas. If they cry right after being fed, it means their stomach is causing the issue, and they need something like water to soothe the stomach pain.
3. Help them burp
It is essential to understand that babies need to release gas in the tummy after they are fed. Pick them and bring about some movements in them which can help them release a burp easily. When you keep them still for long hours, gas develops inside their gut which doesn’t get released on its own due to developing liver. This causes uneasiness, and sometimes it even leads to inflammation. Making them lie on their stomach or patting their back is the best way to help them release a burp.
4. Diaper Check
Always check the diapers for any leakage and change when necessary. A wet diaper is a common reason for babies to cry. It also leads to rashes and uneasiness among babies when not changed frequently.
5. They need proper sleep
You need to understand a baby requires at least 18 hours of sleep every day. Sometimes, they feel too tired and would want to sleep some more. When your baby acts upset and irritated no matter what you do to please them, it is an indication that they need to be put to sleep. Wrap them in soft, warm fabric, feed them some luke wark milk, sing a lullaby and make them sleep.
6. Hug them
Babies know the arms of their mothers and if you hug them immediately as soon as you see them crying. Sometimes all they need is a warm, cozy hug from their mothers. Just hold them and make them feel comfortable, you will notice them calming down.
7. Check the temperature of their surroundings

You need to maintain just the right temperature for your baby. This not only stops them from crying but also avoids cold and other health issues.

You tackle this issue by simply taking some time out from your busy schedule and spend some time with them. Talk to them, play with them or feed them water or honey. Babies best enjoy staying engaged.
9. They need peace
Like adults, some babies do not like being in a crowded place. Their brain needs some time to process the stimulation from the environment, and that’s the reason it takes time for them to be friends with others. It is entirely normal if you see your baby crying during birthday parties or any family gathering.
10. Itchy
Make sure you change your baby’s clothes every day. They might feel uneasiness due to fabric or maybe due to some insect bite. Always check on them for rashes and apply baby powder if necessary.
